A lot of post-black sounds very similar. Somehow, while clearly being of that genre, MØL have a sound that is all their own.

New album, released today, is worthy of a listen.

From the first notes I heard on their debut EP, I had a feeling I was going to like this band... and they are yet to disappoint.

Domhain does it again. This is post-black metal at it's most ethereal. Cello, overlapping vocals, soaring atmosphere... what's not to love?

Transcendent.

To me the reports regarding his failing health have been more wishful thinking than real.

Same as for Trump.
Vladimir Putin was "about to die" in 2022. But... didn't.
This is a cautionary tale about why you shouldn't get your geopolitical & foreign affairs news from the same place you get your crazy-new-flavour-of-Twisties news.
It's also about immortal Russian dogs. Enjoy!

Welcome back, Textures.

After near a decade this heavy-progressive band from the Netherlands returns with an excellent EP that has their unmistakable sound.

Had it on heavy repeat since it dropped. Check it out.

The thing that strikes me about the Alex Pretti shooting is that MAGAites are falling all over themselves to parrot the government li(n)e.

I feel like a good portion of these people would also be the ones to say "Don't trust the government".

This is unhinged.

There was a comment on this that called for people to shoot ICE officers. That is also unhinged.

This kind of absolutist, cultish nonsense is what made Twitter a garbage fire.

Call out the bad faith, hypocrisy and dumb shit or Bsky goes the same way.
Abolish ICE and prosecute everyone who stays in it from this day forward as members of a criminal conspiracy to commit murder.

(For Australian residents only).

My cricket club had about $4,000 of match balls stolen recently so we're fundraising to try to recover some of the money.

There's some pretty great prizes on offer (cars) and tickets are only $5.

Precedent is everything when it comes to free speech in this country... without constitutional protection we needed our governments to not create laws that impinge.

I'm not sure the government could have screwed this up more.

Here they have the political cover to really ramp up gun control in this country and instead they've been trying to appease the Zionist Lobby by backtracking on Royal Commissions and trying to stifle speech.
