This will be wonderful tomorrow down in Putney, albeit at a sadly timely moment.

Just a last few tix left for our Pentangle Listening Party with Jacqui McShee tomorrow afternoon at the Half Moon in Putney. Thanks to Jennie Bellestar for some promo at her fab Give Me Love vintage shop in Camden 💜

Ah wow, how good does that look.

Many of the tracks are way more mainstream than my tastes but I like the way they're straight down the line with it. They takes the music as seriously as the fans who’ve listened to it time after time

Me too, even though many of the tracks are new to me. Still interesting to hear the musicians talk about how their music came to be.

Really like those @djmag.com Making Of Dance Classics vids, give me that warm feeling of the old Classic Albums docs where the artists got a chance to reminisce and set the record straight

Blown away by prescient Delroy Williams track for Pablo circa 80s “Three Men In A Truck Back” – a dark encounter with JA forced labour – “no shackles around dem feet, but they no free... by the expression on dem face, let I know they are in no shape” – heavy indeed

I had a dig around on YouTube and the clips sounded bad but might well be very different source/provenance. Very curious now, thanks! Always been fascinated by that crazy ambitious tour

they’ve had a shocker there.

In two days I somehow swung by both Dialogue Cafes, where you order with BSL and it's staffed by d/Deaf or hearing impaired people, in London: in University of East London and Stratford. Great spots and fantastic ventures, super cool, go check 'em out

Pretty intrigued to hear what’s in this pie, NGL

Would be curious to know how the sound quality is.

Sorry for the tired photo. Had to get up multiple times in the night to reassure him I was not dead.

I suspect they would say that both albums are A +++ (and rightly so)

Love this little note on the bottom of a rave blurb for the reissue of Goldie’s Timeless on the @boomkat.com site (and still not on Spotify)
