Mo Gueye up and under reverse layup for a new career high, steals the pass at the other end, then an eight-pass sequence for a Risacher 3-pointer, then a steal and a Risacher poster dunk.

Realized it was the first time we got a walk off interview since all this started. I liked that he took blame for the turn overs in the second half and you could tell he’s focused on what didn’t work rather than being happy about the win.

I don’t think I’ve ever had highway hypnosis as bad as I did watching Fantastic Four. I forgot I was even watching a movie until Ben showed up with a rock beard.

My son had a great quote though: “I bet the city is used to that by now”

The best compliment I can give Vince Gilligan is that when I saw the 60-minute runtimes for the first two episodes, I was excited instead of feeling like I was in for a viewership-metric spamming slog.
Happy Pluribus Day! If you haven't already checked out Vince Gilligan's new sci-fi series and are curious if you should start, here's my review, with the bare minimum of detail regarding its very high concept:
Review: Vince Gilligan's at the top of his game with 'Pluribus'
The 'Breaking Bad' creator reteams with 'Better Call Saul' star Rhea Seehorn for a wildly entertaining sci-fi saga

Mark Daigneault went 22-50 his first season as a head coach. While I would like for Iisalo to be championship head coach his first season, the reality is feeling like we’re in a quiet rebuild with Ja and Jaren in the position Jenkins was in last season: adapt to the changes or it’s been real.

fantastic work here by Scott on a movie i really loved--someone really needs to put this out on disc, because I don't want to subscribe to Netflix again.
I never felt Fincher's THE KILLER got much of a shake before slipping to Netflix two years ago. So for The Reveal, I wrote about how the world's fussiest director made a film about human fallibility. thereveal.film/david-finche...

With his stripped-down Netflix thriller, David Fincher exposes the folly of a perfect assassin.

ah, perhaps instead of pumping millions into endless factional infighting Dem donors could invest in making local Dem organizations genuine civic spaces that can reach people during and between elections

If you run into a coach you dislike in the morning, you ran into a coach you dislike. If you run into coaches you dislike all day ...
Ja Morant’s play was so listless on Friday, coming off such a strong prior game, that I thought he must have been battling illness.

“I’m fine,” he said.

So what was wrong? Morant had one repeated response: “Go ask the coaching staff.”

Frustrated Ja Morant takes aim at coaches after loss
What went wrong for Ja Morant in a Friday night loss to the L.A. Lakers? "Go ask the coaching staff," said Morant, in a frustrated reference to post-game discussions.

I don’t blame the front office for choosing Ja over Bane

A) Ja is the brand
B) Bane gets a bigger haul. You would be selling Ja at a loss and you need to be able to say “i did everything I could to make things work with Ja”.

This conflict was inevitable and I’m glad TI called Ja out.
