Tomorrow is my #birthday & I'd love your support for mutual aid needed for my neighborhoods here in North #Minneapolis. This is direct rental assistance to families impacted by ICE.

I'm turning 54. If I can get 54 donations, I'll have a very Happy Birthday w neighbors staying in their homes.

My admiration and support for everyone in @hennepin.bsky.social trying to make/keep our area equitable, accessible, and supportive right now. Our residents need us more than ever.

The students of Valley View Elementary, including the schoolmates of Liam Ramos, wrote letters to the ICE agents who have been detaining their friends and families.

Press conferences and social media posts have not changed conditions on the ground. Another person taken today off of Central Ave and Northeast middle school had to delay letting kids leave because of ICE presence in the area. The federal government continues to make our community less safe.

I’m ok. I’m a survivor so this small agitator isn’t going to intimidate me from doing my work.

I don’t let bullies win.

Grateful to my incredible constituents who rallied behind me. Minnesota strong.

This morning ICE attempted to enter into the Ecuadorian consulate on Central Ave but were barred from entering. I spoke with Ambassador Yanez this afternoon and they want to make sure the Ecuadorian community knows it’s still safe to come to the consulate.

We in #Minneapolis have a fundamental #humanright to exist and to move freely about the streets of our city, just like all other residents of #America. It's universal standard practice that there be a legitimate investigation when any of us are deprived of that right and killed by law enforcement.

"Why is it so normal for law enforcement — those who are supposed to be keepers of law and order — to kill Americans? And why is the only question at the end of the day how much their victims deserved to die?"

I just spoke with the White House after another horrific shooting by federal agents this morning. Minnesota has had it. This is sickening.

The President must end this operation. Pull the thousands of violent, untrained officers out of Minnesota. Now.
