Zohran is going to kill the “YIMBYs and leftists are mortal enemies” idea and that alone will make the internet 23% less annoying to me personally. Big accomplishment.

I was wondering what Mamdani's first executive order would be, and I'm not disappointed by this.

He has wiped off the books EVERY Eric Adams executive order issued on or after September 26, 2024, the day Adams was indicted on federal bribery charges.

So artists must perform for everyone, but public servants can opt out of providing services based on their own bigotry? Make it make sense!

Mamdani has appointed Lillian Bonsignore, previously Chief of EMS Operations, as commissioner of FDNY (the agency has a serious inequity in EMS vs. fire pay and staffing levels – the vast majority of the agency’s calls are EMS, while fire dominates staffing and pay) abc7ny.com/post/mayor-e...
Mamdani names Lillian Bonsignore, retired EMS chief, next FDNY fire commissioner

This administration absolutely despises children
The Trump administration reversed a Biden-era ban on antipersonnel land mines except on the Korean Peninsula.

The memo, signed by Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, says the reversal would give the U.S. military a “force multiplier” against enemies.

The Trump administration will reverse a Biden-era policy that prohibits the use of antipersonnel land mines, according to a Dec. 2 document reviewed by The Post.

The folk who think a right to housing solves anything are the same people who believe that we can use solve homelessness by relocating unhoused folk into homes that are being shown for sale.
“Right to housing” must hit so hard if you aren’t familiar with any aspect of housing policy at all. It must all feel so simple and easy. I’m honestly jealous of people that believe it’s as simple as pressing the “end homelessness” button. Imagine how hopeful you could feel.

This is intolerable behavior from law enforcement no matter who they are arresting.

These officers need to see the inside of a prison cell.
One citizen said that federal agents in Idaho pointed guns at her children, ages 6 and 8, and dragged her 14-year-old daughter out of a truck and zip-tied her.

The mother told investigators that an agent threatened to “fucking blow your head off.”

In the last month, Apple has:

1. Sent millions of iPhone customers a “get ready for your new phone” push notification, despite those customers not buying new phones
2. Erroneously updated the expiration date on stored credit cards for millions of Safari users
