arXiv no longer accepting submissions until after peer review is sadly necessary to fend off the torrent of AI slop, but cuts off a venue which made papers available which wouldn't have otherwise been available.

I am having to educate myself in a hurry about self-employment tax in the US, and the tax implications of receiving contract income as an individual or forming an LLC to do so.
As I'm basically doing random web searches now, does anyone have suggestions of more specific resources to consult?

Better to be lucky than good, I guess. I ordered refills of RXes in advance of losing COBRA coverage, but didn't pick them up by 9/30.
Fortunately the bags waiting on the bins were billed when they were filled, not when we picked them up. They charged the COBRA plan.
