Until 20 I believed that a dime had to be made of more valuable metal than a nickel, since it was smaller yet worth more.
Suddenly realized that both are trash, the dime is worth more because the US Mint says it is worth more.

I like to think that every time we move, Grillo's Pickles sees this weird geographic shift in their sales volume that they can't really explain but which quickly settles down again in the new pattern.

I haven't tried very hard to get them to watch anything Star Trek. They find the technological utopia it portrays unconvincing and absurd. The technological future is here, and it is dystopian.
I did get them to watch Blade Runner (1982) which they really really liked.

My wife and our children filed Staatsangehörigkeitsgesetz § 5 declarations, which were accepted almost two years ago. They all have Reisepässe now.

Has your family reclaimed their German citizenship since then? It sounds like you'd qualify for Article 116(2) if Mother's citizenship was revoked.
