Hi, I'm Dirk, I write and draw String Theory (www.stringtheorycomic.com). It's a comic about mad science and villainy and crime and a sad butt idiot. It's been going since 2009, and it's drama/comedy.

I post a lot of stuff about horror movies also, sometimes gardening/cat. I'm old and married.

Chapter cover for my comic mimicking an old style comic book covercomplete with aging and tears. It's title is Red Shift and it shows three ominous men standing around a fourth man who is tied to a chair and bleeding from his temple. The room is dark with a single spotlight over the tied up man. On the side in feature circles there's three other characters, a grinning madly old man with yellow lens glasses holding a test tube labelled Orville von Schtein, a lady with dark brown hair labelled Delia Osgood, and under her a gormless looking gaunt older fellow named Eric DeGroot

The chapter cover titled Cold Relics, it's an intense scene with fire and lightning and people pulling guns and using elemental super powers with the old glasses guy from the first cover sitting amongst some giant fungus with a younger lady who looks strange (ashen skin, spots on her cheeks, long fingers). In the foreground There's two characters surrounded by fire, one a pale white haired big nosed guy with red on black eyes. He's wearing a weird black strapped lab coat and black gloves. The other guy is a bald red head pulling a gun from a holster

The pale white haired fellow (Dr Schtein, he's the main character) sits on a curb in front of a suburban house with a gloomy looking teenager who's wearing ripped jeans, black boots, a striped hoodie and a dark grey denim vest. Her hair is black. She's kinda metal goth in look.

Dr. Schtein is sitting rather glumly and smoking a cigarette and hunched over. Behind them in the yard there's a bunch of silly halloween decorations like tombstones and skulls and pumpkins in the grass.

Nah I've had brain zaps before. They're crazy feeling haha. Didn't make the world spin around. Usually they hit me after I've been off something for a couple weeks. Literally they feel like you're being electrocuted in your brain, it's wild.

I have weird nostalgia for it since i only had like four games on the Genesis and that was one of them. But it was always bad and frustrating and annoying. I definitely played Sonic and knuckles more. I wouldn't pay money for more bubsy tho lol. Emulators exist.

I mean the other day I was in the back and the back door was open because of deliveries or something. It's never open. and my immediate jumped to thought was "Run for it." which is so silly I can walk out at any time I'm not trapped. but still I thought it.

I still need to buy a dark grey button up shirt but my halloween costume this year is basically complete. I'll also need to learn how to trim a mustache, but I'm sure there's plenty of videos or whatever.
