Men were branded as gangsters sent to CECOT, the torture prison in El Salvador.

On 7/19, 252 were released to Venezuela- the Salvadorans still there.
We won't forget the injustice to them and continue to speak out for all that ICE has disappeared in US
Pinned
Today's 9 mos. since the Salvadoran men were illegally sent to El S. Unlike the VZ men who shared the same, horrible detention, they are still there. We know of the brutal conditions.

We must advocate with congress, senate, faith communities and human rights orgs.

Please be a voice.

This is how we keep our communities safe: “Before long, Indivisible Chicago sent whistle kits in the mail to the New Orleans chapter, along with an explanation of how best to use them, and Indivisible NOLA set up a “know your rights” training that the Chicago chapter helped lead remotely via Zoom.”

Today, I spoke with Kilmar Abrego Garcia and his wife, Jennifer. In April, when I met with him in El Salvador, Trump said he would never set foot in the U.S. again.

This case has never been about one man alone; if the govt can violate the constitutional rights of one, all our rights are threatened.

The DHS has this quote on their website, unchanged since 4/25.

"Jerce Reyes Barrios was in the United States illegally. He was a member of the vicious Tren de Aragua gang, and he was deported to El Salvador."

He is a professional soccer player and beloved coach. He fled VZ due to persecution.

2 Cholera clinic shut. Bodies followed.
3 Experts warned millions would die. Regime applauded.

As the top Democrat on the House Immigration Subcommittee, if Republicans refuse to conduct oversight of Trump’s illegal immigration actions, I will.

I’ve held shadow hearings both in DC and across America, hearing horrifying stories from dozens of people — and I won’t stop.

The AP tracked down details of some of the people killed in President Trump's military strikes on drug smugglers he describes as narco-terrorists.

They were, with one exception, not high-level criminals. One was a fisherman. One was a bus driver; another a taxi driver.

It was always coming to this. We are the “home growns” Trump mentioned sending to CECOT.
In a leaked memo, AG Pam Bondi told the DOJ to compile a “list of groups or entities engaged in acts that may constitute domestic terrorism,” suggesting the department could target Americans based on their political beliefs rather than their actions.
