As someone who has spent lifetimes doing QC & agonising over reports on raw footage, & contemplating the hardworking post-prod folks who would've spent days correcting all of this, you might ask me if I think a business person should be publicly executed for this & I would say 'no comment'.

There's something about the feeling of falling forever into a volcano that makes me love Coen Brother's The Ballad of Buster Scruggs, possibly more than any other film of their's. It's Raising Arizona if nothing good came of the shenanigans & the death cult society was apparent. So tired & wired.

Northern Exposure popping up in the news twice in a week seems like an unusual omen (to someone who watched it at all the weird hours that Australian TV used to stick the "not successful" US shows that ran for many, many seasons).

Just found out that Tatsuya Nakadai passed away a few weeks ago. You may not know his name but I guarantee that you know his face if you have even a passing interest in world cinema history. Too many films to name & so many of them populate greatest films of all time. An icon. Vale.

I don't dislike the term 'skeets' but every time I come across it I instinctively feel that it belongs in a particular sentence, "I've got the skeets", that you say before you run to the toilet.

It makes sense that a business tears an artist a new one for any minor issue in supplied work, but doesn't care about the mutant AI slop. It was always about power & the derangement of tiny minded dickheads getting their sadistic kicks in anyway they can.

In the last 65 hours I've slept for less than a third of the amount of time I have been in the office. It's almost double digits of sleep. I have no sparkling wit left. But you can call me Lieutenant Airtable (I ain't the captain but I made it do laps of that field table).
