As someone who has spent lifetimes doing QC & agonising over reports on raw footage, & contemplating the hardworking post-prod folks who would've spent days correcting all of this, you might ask me if I think a business person should be publicly executed for this & I would say 'no comment'.
HBOMax has started showing a 'remastered' 4K Mad Men and they’ve messed things up so during Roger’s oyster vomit scene you can now see the crew men with the vomit hose on the right

There's something about the feeling of falling forever into a volcano that makes me love Coen Brother's The Ballad of Buster Scruggs, possibly more than any other film of their's. It's Raising Arizona if nothing good came of the shenanigans & the death cult society was apparent. So tired & wired.

It hasn't shifted my opinion but I am grateful for Tarantino laying out a whole pile of nails to seal the coffin shut on ever paying any attention to him ever again.

Paul Dano "weakest male actor in SAG".... don't even need to say anything about the dire top 10 list itself.
Cheers, dickhead 👍

Northern Exposure popping up in the news twice in a week seems like an unusual omen (to someone who watched it at all the weird hours that Australian TV used to stick the "not successful" US shows that ran for many, many seasons).

Just found out that Tatsuya Nakadai passed away a few weeks ago. You may not know his name but I guarantee that you know his face if you have even a passing interest in world cinema history. Too many films to name & so many of them populate greatest films of all time. An icon. Vale.

I don't dislike the term 'skeets' but every time I come across it I instinctively feel that it belongs in a particular sentence, "I've got the skeets", that you say before you run to the toilet.

It makes sense that a business tears an artist a new one for any minor issue in supplied work, but doesn't care about the mutant AI slop. It was always about power & the derangement of tiny minded dickheads getting their sadistic kicks in anyway they can.

As my father always said:

"Define 'normal'."

If that bigot was honest enough to do so then he'd categorise himself far more than this imagined Other that he wishes to yank the leash on.
This is another widespread trope on Twitter at the moment. It’s ’the Queers went too far’ & includes strawmen arguments as in here (1) ungrateful Queer ppl & (2) in other cases, the inclusion of trans ppl in the community. It’s a ridiculously stupid & rightwing piece of rhetoric. Let’s examine it*

It's 5:18am & all I want to do is discover what the fuck is going on with the filmography of Allison Burnett & her duo of films about a woman named Katie Kampenfelt, Ask Me Anything & Another Girl. It sounds like a weird cliff to dangle off of.

In the last 65 hours I've slept for less than a third of the amount of time I have been in the office. It's almost double digits of sleep. I have no sparkling wit left. But you can call me Lieutenant Airtable (I ain't the captain but I made it do laps of that field table).
