For your Autumnal 🍂 celebrations this year, feel free to burn a copy of the Malleus Maleficarum. I never approve of book burning🔥/banning, except for that extra special POS 📚 that's a manual written by the first incel, a crazy, sexually frustrated 15th C monk on how to specifically torture women.

Another post of mine where I continue to argue that this is the biggest political issue that few are talking about nearly enough. We know Republicans are in the tank for the tech oligarchs on this, and this is an issue that infuriates many voters in key areas.

We used to have a Constitution, Congress, and the law. Now the limits of Trump’s power are self-determined. This is why we called our rallies ‘No Kings’.

👇🏽The release from Portland Police on 2 shot by border patrol in Portland — which is not on the border.

Sounds like the victims had to call the police themselves after they were shot, to get medical help. (ICE did not help Renee Good)

What else can we do? We're speaking out. The ineffectual Dems aren't doing anything. When we speak out or try to protect ourselves, we're murdered. There's book banning. Was it during Hitler's time that a loaf of bread was 2mil marks? That's where we're headed. We *are* in Nazi Germany.
Vance says ICE is protected by absolute immunity. Immunity for murdering a U.S. citizen? WTF. Do all Americans now have absolute immunity to do whatever they want? That’s an absurd argument.

Students were waiting in the school library when children’s book authors Joanna Ho & Caroline Kusin-Pritchard arrived to talk about their book, "The Day the Books Disappeared." But first, the authors were told they weren't permitted to address the topic of the book—book bans. pen.org/dont-mention...
Don’t Mention It: Even The Discussion of Censorship Is Under Attack
"It all amounts to an increasingly Kafkaesque situation, where reading and talking about book bans and censorship is itself being censored."

I don't think I imagined Rubio & other MAGA saying during the No Kings rallies that using your vehicle to protect yourself, fleeing an unsafe situation was reasonable. This woman obviously wasn't doing that. I'm point out their hypocrisy. During No Kings MAGA implied it was perfectly acceptable.

I'm so sorry for her family. 💔

This administration *wants* these ICE murders. They know it will stir ppl up enough they will eventually declare martial law, claiming it's about safety. It's not about safety. It's about control. Keep filming, keep protesting, but please, please be safe. 💙

Sabrina the Teenage Witch is returning to Archie comics.

I really loved the 90s series & am still pissed at Netflix for kowtowing to conservatives & ruining a perfectly fun show, forcing an abrupt weird (not in a good way) ending. I'm sure they did their best. 💙

Just a reminder that Jan 6th - the Feast of the Epiphany - was not originally about Christian nationalists storming the U.S capital, but about wise men, seeking the true leader, refusing to bow down to a paranoid tyrant and choosing to go in a different direction.

Two of my favorite things: Paintings/art & Shakespeare.
The Boydell Gallery was visited by everyone who was anyone, from Jane Austen to the Prince of Wales. Its walls were hung floor to ceiling with paintings of pivotal scenes from Shakespeare’s plays. But why make a gallery devoted to Shakespeare? And who was Boydell?

"Iron laws of the world"? Some of America's most important national accomplishments are about leading humanity away from this kind of bullshit.

If we let ideologues like Stephen Miller drag us back into a world where brute force is all that matters, all of us will be less safe.
