So when are we getting Congressional action on this? Happy for Ansari and AOC and others (Jeffries, Schumer, Klobuchar, Smith, Craig, Warren, etc) to make public statements but we need Congress to actually act.
Ansari: I think ICE is completely out of control, and there should be no more funding given to ICE. The funding that's already has been given to them through the big ugly bill should be stripped entirely

You can't blame the FBI, doing stuff like this is what they are in business for and it should be expected. Now, the people who repeat it, who support it and who believe it -- those are the ones that are the most dismaying. I don't see how you can call yourself a human being if you support this.
Within a day or so of the shooting, myself, @ericcolumbus.bsky.social, and @annabower.bsky.social predicted on the Lawfare Podcast that this would be the focus of any investigation; there’s no joy in having been correct — just a growing sense of dismay.

I want to sincerely thank everyone who expressed condolences to me and my family on our dog Nina's passing. It's not easy to lose an old friend that we shared a big portion of our lives with, but it's comforting to know that you have friends who care and understand. Thank you to all.
