⚠️The River Forecast Centre is maintaining a flood watch for the North Shore mountains. If you’re out in our parks and forests, please keep your distance from creeks and rivers, as they can fill up quickly and their banks can erode.

Ahead of storm season, crews inspect and clear storm and sanitary sewers, prepare sandbags for flood prevention, stockpile salt for winter road safety & prime the Snow Command fleet. Crews also prepare for wind-related issues like downed trees.

The Lynn Canyon Suspension Bridge is now re-opened for public use following repairs to the east approach boardwalk and staircase.

🚦Beginning at 9:30am tomorrow (Nov. 28), the intersections of Mount Seymour Parkway at Lytton Street and Mount Seymour Parkway at Emerson Way will be reduced to one lane of traffic in each direction and managed by traffic control flaggers to accommodate critical maintenance on the traffic signals.
