Get Zirkzee off. Bring Mainoo on. Push Bruno higher and play three up top with Mbeumo floating about. That will create more threat than having that Sideshow Bob waster up front. Or bring on Shea Lacey.

One big issue I have with Amorim is he never seems to learn. Starting Zirkzee his toothless display against 10 man Everton is an example of this.

Has anyone mentioned that these players have now been off-cycle for over a year, so all effects of the doping under Klopp will have dissipated? And, of course, the new players aren't doping so they're fully feeling the effects of the shite training methods and coaching.

Nobody can seriously argue that Virgil van Dijk is one of the best CBs ever, surely? Three top seasons in a career does not make him the goat. Not even in the top 5 since 2000, let alone one of the best of all time.

I'd get this guy and Wharton. I think Baleba is the overall better player than Anderson (acknowledging that his form is poor this season) but he'd be off to the AFCON with Mbeumo, Amad, Mazraoui every two years.

And what was the point of bringing Dalot on for Dorgu? Dorgu was having a 'mare but why not change things up? Bring Mainoo on for Dorgu and move Shaw wide. Casemiro can drop into the CB slot or, here's a thought, we don't need three CBs against 10 men.

Agree. Why were we lining up with Dalot and Amad against their wide players? Should have been Shaw and Yoro. Leave it 1v1 at the back if needed. But with ten men you absolutely have to create overloads. It's simple. Neville was annoying with his moaning but he was right with his point.
Ended up playing a 532 when we should have been playing a 235. So negative and as ponderous like an LVG team.

Even against ten men, Amorim can't find it within himself to remove one of his beloved centre backs to create an overload elsewhere. Absolutely zero point in having three CBs look after one striker. Fucking hell. And then you have that absolute clown Zirkzee up front. Abysmal.
