Season’s little over halfway. This feels like a great benchmark game vs one of the league’s best. Honestly, the Raptors are better than I’ve given them credit for. If we can find consistent 3s and a real big, a run in this weird East isn’t crazy.

Carney’s not perfect, but his Daily Show chat with Jon Stewart last year sold me on one thing: he’s got an actual personality, a sense of humour, and he can take a punch without melting down. That already puts him ahead of a lot of leaders. I’m thankful every day we’re not represented by Poilievre.

I’ve lost count of how many times analysts have written off Sam Darnold as “not good enough.” No matter what happens vs the Rams, he’s proven he’s one of the better QBs in the NFL.
