Amateur pundit with a penchant for perms—never fight a man with one! Hailing from the same hometown as my moniker, though we never met. Former Raptors Republic partner. My opinions? More unpredictable and chaotic than the Dallas Mavericks front office. 🇨🇦🇩🇪
Scottie backing down in the post and cashing that sweet little bank shot… that’s grown‑man basketball right there.

The more I learn about Dylan Cease, the more I love this guy. The Jays don’t just load up on talent, they load up on character — and this dude is perfectly quirky. Beekeeper, honey sommelier, ace pitcher… absolutely a Blue Jays‑type human.

Depending on how this season plays out, we can’t just talk about Bobby — Masai is still a huge part of how we got here. Even if letting him go was mainly a financial decision, his imprint on this Raptors team is massive, and this might be one of the peak rosters he helped shape.

A powerful leader using the word “retarded” to attack someone who has a special‑needs child is beyond disgusting. If you run a country, that kind of rhetoric is inexcusable. History will remember exactly who chose cruelty over basic decency.

As a parent of a special needs child, fuck you Trump! 🖕🏻

Why is it so hard for Canada to find leaders who are serious, honest, and actually focused on people? Feels like we’re stuck choosing between different versions of the same circus. Carney & Poilievre are a joke. Carney, how about making cost of living a priority for a change? 🖕🏻 #cdnpoli

The Lions are bringing the entertainment today—and it’s not the football. Jack White and Eminem is a wildly unlikely combo, but incredible. Detroit representing.

Rapcast with @samsonfolk.bsky.social & @caitlinmaycooper.bsky.social: deep dive on how this “mish mash” Raptors roster has become the No. 2 halfcourt offense, Darko’s late‑game problem solving, Barnes bullying Mathurin, and Ingram calmly walking it up to drill the iso game‑winner over Siakam.

New Jays ace Dylan Cease is fun as hell: sixth‑round pick turned Cy runner‑up, big anime/film guy, low‑key weirdo with elite shoe game, and an invisible fastball that hitters basically never square up. Gonna be a blast watching him here. Can’t wait!

And just wait till Brady Tkachuk returns this week. Wawawiewa!!!!!!
The Ottawa Senators are the best team in Canada.

At what point do we start admitting Ingram’s value to this team is getting Kawhi‑like? He’s that important to how they function. He’s been amazing and I’ve never seen him happier playing basketball.

Speaking of clutch blocks. Scott doing his best impression.

Pretty clutch block by Ingram.

I can’t hate a team that runs out Siakam, Nembhard, and Mathurin. There are way worse teams to hate than the Pacers.

Dylan Cease is such a perfect add for the Jays—huge strikeout stuff, innings, and he slots right into the heart of the rotation. Bieber, Gausman, Cease, Yesavage, Berríos… that’s a serious five. Hurry up March!!!!!

Zulfi’s got a great one today on the Raptors “speed paradox” — still running in transition, but way smarter about when to slow it down. Ingram + Darko have turned last year’s chaotic pace into a top‑tier halfcourt offence. Good stuff!!!!
While teams across the NBA have tried to get better at playing fast, the Raptors have done the opposite.

On how the Raptors have found value in slowing down, the same way I did many years ago. For @raptorsrepublic.bsky.social ⤵️

Kelly’s got a good one this morning: Raptors as the SEC powerhouse smacking Washington like a cupcake on the schedule. 12–5, top‑5 offense, top‑10 defense, Ingram looks like he’s been here since 2019, and there’s still room to upgrade the back end. This looks like a legit second‑round team. 🤞
