It's #batbootyfriday! These tiny snoozing booties belong to our tri-colored trio, Shortcake, Truman, and Streusel. They're in the early stages of a long winter's nap, but we'll be keeping a close eye on their teeny tushies to ensure they maintain suitably plush posteriors.

Very sad. Just saw him this summer despite having a stroke in 2023. Believe me, he could still do it. We're losing some great talent from the 60's that can't be replaced. 😿🦇

Photo takenat Bat World's wild sanctuary, which included a nursery. Each of these Mexican freetail pups has a lifespan of 15 to 20 yearsand will eat over 20,000million insects intheir lifetime. Their favorite prey is the cornborer moth. Without freetailed bats, we'd be paying $9 for an ear of corn.

📌🏅The White House slammed the Nobel Committee after awarding the Peace Prize to Venezuela’s María Corina Machado instead of President Trump. Steven Cheung said the committee “places politics over peace” and praised Trump’s “unmatched ability to move mountains.”

Norman is a lap cat, love it. Eleanor, on the other hand, is the 17 year old queen. She occasionally will be a lap cat for her peasant humans, but only as she sees fit. Do not sneeze, cough, move more than 1/16" lest you feel her discontent!

Meanwhile , Republicans in the House are on vacation, again, Senate Republicans keep voting

We’ve rescued more than 136 little flying foxes from barbed wire entanglements in the last 6 days! Most were found across two fences at the top of the hill, specifically Queensland’s highest road at Tumoulin. Unfortunately, many had injuries too severe to survive and we had to make the difficult

Every fall, tiny ruby-throated hummingbirds—some weighing only about 3 grams—set off on an incredible migration journey of up to 2,000 miles from North America to Central America.

What’s truly amazing is that these baby hummingbirds make their very first trip completely alone!
