According to Ben Meiselas Republicans are labeling “No Kings” demonstrations on October 18 as “pro-Hamas” or “anti-America.” They can call it what they want. I will be there and lend my voice to the millions who will not stand by as the weak orange blob violates the Constitution.

The U. S. will host a Qatari Air Force contingent at Mountain Home Air Force Base in Idaho, where Qatari pilots will train to fly F-15 fighter jets. This is part of the quid pro quo for Trump getting a jet. Trump gets personal gifts in exchange for giving away U.S. assets.

The White House criticized the Nobel committee for giving the peace prize to a Venezuelan opposition leader claiming "The Nobel Committee proved they place politics over peace." Trump helped escalate the war in Gaza, gave Putin free reign & imposed fascism in the U.S. No profile in courage there.

We bailed out billionaires in 2008-09 when they collapsed the banking industry. Now, billionaires who bet on Argentina are being bailed out to the tune of $20B. This is not about Argentina, it's the classic game for oligarchs of heads I win, tails I win & tax payers lose.

The Senate passed a $925 billion defense bill last night. You would think since Trump has given up on defending our allies and defending democracy worldwide, we could do with a smaller defense budget. I guess blowing up fishing boats & invading Blue States takes money.

Now that Trump lost the Nobel, how long before he abandons the peace process in Gaza? His whole goal was to create the illusion of peace to win a Nobel but we know he is never fully engaged in policy for longer than it benefits him. And yes, we can say it again, he is a loser.

Venezuelan opposition leader María Corina Machado won the Nobel Peace Prize for her struggle to achieve a democratic transition in Venezuela & as a woman “who keeps the flame of democracy burning amid a growing darkness.” That is as opposed to Trump who is killing democracy.

Letitia James has been indicted for something she didn't do while Trump who was convicted and faced more trials walks free. Every attorney associated with this case and Comey's should be disbarred and deported and they can take Trump with them.

Trump doesn't want us learning history because his illegal actions in Chicago & Portland remind us of what came before. On the peaceful march from Selma to Montgomery blacks were harassed & beaten by police & Kent State where peaceful white anti-war protesters were shot.

A soccer match between Argentina & Puerto Rico October 13 has been moved from Chicago to Fort Lauderdale, Fla, due to Trump's fascist takeover of Chicago which is not terribly far from Mar-a Lago. Why should Florida benefit from a totalitarian crackdown in law abiding states?

According to the Kaiser Family Foundation less than 1% of total Medicaid spending goes to emergency care for noncitizen immigrants. In 2023, of the $860 billion spent on Medicaid, only .4% of that or about $3.8 billion went toward Emergency Medicaid for undocumented immigrants.

A Speaker who attempts to do so would be acting unconstitutionally and violating established legal precedent from the 1969 case Powell v. McCormack. If MAGA Mike refuses to seat Adelita Grijalva, Democrats should push to vacate as Speaker and have D.C. police arrest him.

When Trump answers a question with, "we are looking into that", "we'll have a plan soon" or "we've done great work on that", reporters know he is lying. Keep him talking and expose his dementia. That is their job, not to pass along his lies and bullshit.
