Sad that he died at only 76, but now a lot of people are learning about him for the first time, and I hope we're all taking away from his obituary the correct lessons.

RIP Kenny Morris: original punk, Banshee drummer extraordinaire. I knew him well in the Banshees and was in touch with him recently about his memoir. Which I hope will be published. God bless you Kenny

Andy Wilman. Feels about right, though I'm probably not as patient around angry chain-smoking man children.

@jordanhass.com wasn't this a YDKJ word of choice? In my head, I hear it in Cookie's voice.
You absolute

Ah, memories of going about in a Harvard T-shirt (I know, I was young and pretentious), and realising that wearing something with Veritas all over it might be a problem...

Given I think I've seen him do hotel cabaret, I'll go with James Graydon.

Early Dilbert could be incredibly on point at times, and it's important to acknowledge that rather than pretend it was always terrible.

Scott Adams getting high on his own hype, emerging from his hate chrysalis, then doubling down on it, was very odd. He poisoned his own legacy well before death.

As a writer of the old kayfabe myself (shameless @rwf-backoffice.bsky.social plug here), that's just beautiful. How to set out a character perfectly with minimum effort.

Many years ago, rather than post his change of address card, a friend sent Giffgaff SIMs this exact way, with the info on the gift card. Can recommend.

I know I'm in a weird mood right now so I may be sensitive to the wrong things, but is this whole "divine fallacy" idea of willing another reality into existence a bit more prevalent nowadays?

Looks different without the moustache, somehow.

Well, yes. He has the look of a man who spent his formative years being repeatedly Donkey Scrubbed, so I presume the damage is already done.

I might not have been able to get any verification on UK Taz, but check out The Head Banger on this show...

Were you there when The Undertaker brought American wrestling to town?
STING, the Undertaker, Mr USA and the Head Banger traded insults and blows as American wrestling came to the Coronation Hall at Ulverston.

There's not much of Lift Off left, apparently, but there was a fairly consistent slot for these kinds of shows at the time (live acts & interview fluff, really). I'm sure it'll come up in the podcast proper, because what else is there to say about Ayesha, apart from her alleged tryst with Roy Wood?

It's a beautiful verse form to parody, and I wish the show was better known so I could do it more.

🎵 Maynard's name has clipped the edges, never mind.
There's animals from the Pages, never mind.
And they've booked the lass from Lift off,
To do gags the Ratman ripped off,
And she's looking rather pissed off, never mind.🎵
