This is Jerry Lawson. He invented the video game cartridge for the Fairchild Channel F system. Because of his invention, many consoles had cartridges and CD formats and would become the norm.
The Atari 2600, NES, Genesis, and many consoles wouldn't exist without him.

I really hate chasing people for things. It makes me feel like I'm bothering people. I try to be chill and have understanding for everyone's situations in life. I don't wanna feel like I'm harassing anyone and I appreciate people helping me out.

One of the big reasons I do my podcast is exactly this....to catalog, discuss, analyze and study VGM by various themes, honoring the composers' hard work.
ditch the longform 2 hour vgm vibe playlists. make playlists of actual tracks from actual games. be intentional. if you’re intentional, you won’t be nearly as likely to fall for obvious bait like this. another really great reason why crediting and id-ing the music you’re listening to is valuable

It's unfortunate that the Castlevania musical was locked to Japan for so long. Even after they released a DVD, they didn't bother to translate it to English. It took fans to toss it up on Youtube, which will directly impact sales of the VOD. This should've been in English Day 1.

One of the reasons why it's so frustrating being a Castlevania fan is that we hear SO many people say "Just move on to Bloodstained! It's a spiritual successor!" I love Bloodstained, and am looking forward to the new game, but nothing...NOTHING replaces Castlevania for me.
