Reminds me of how these are so very different:
- $#!% out of luck
- lucky $#!%
This is a post about animal excrement and the English language.

bull$#!% = nonsense/lies
chicken$#!% = petty or cowardly
horse$#!% = nonsense/lies
dog$#!%= low quality
ape$#!% = wild
bat$#!%= crazy

A few years ago, Bill Nye the science guy debated creationist Ken Ham about evolution. The last question was "what would change your mind?"

Bill Nye said "Evidence."

Ken Ham said "Nothing can possibly change my mind about this."

I think about that a lot.

RIP Claude, our albino alligator who passed away today. Seeing him was always a part of visiting the #CalAcademy.

If you see this, post a vampire that isn't Dracula.

We no longer live in a country with three branches of government (Legislative, Executive, Judicial). We live in a country with two parties (Democrats, Republicans, and FU if you're neither)

This is bad on so many levels.

Strump want to "pacify" San Francisco next, justifying sending in the troops with the infamous Insurrection Act. Yet there is no rebellion against government here. #SF

Insurrection; an act or instance of revolting against civil authority or an established government.

You know what I'd like to see in #Congress? I'd like to see the state Representatives sitting together instead of clumped with their own party. You don't represent a freaking party. You represent your state, your region, and all of your constituents. Senators, too. Don't like it? Too bad.

The Strange New World's episode Terrarium is a great Ortegas story and it really reminds me of Enemy Mine.

I've finally started season 3 of ST:SNW and WTF is Pike doing saying the lord's prayer? I could accept Chapel and Spock talking about "faith" assuming they meant in themselves but seriously... Either Pike alone just lost points with me, or the showrunners. Hopefully not both.

This is wrong. Trump could order these officers to rule as he wishes as they are in his chain of command. Hire real, qualified judges; maintain separation of powers.

Fine (or not really), we can't for whatever reason have gun laws because somehow the Supreme Court failed to understand what a well regulated militia means.

So let's regulate the hell out of the bullets.

REGULATE THE F-ING BULLETS.

We worried that #AI would kill us in the future because it would overtake us (Terminator and dozens of other stories).

Instead AI (or rather their corporate creators) will kill us because AI will require all the power to run on most of the resources and still not work|be adopted|be profitable.

Seriously, what even is the actual, specific definition of "woke"? As far as I can tell it just means, "Wah! I don't like it so it must be bad!"
