Followed this with another 1930s Michael Curtiz horror classic starring Lionel Atwill and Faye Wray 'Mystery of the Wax Museum' and one of the characters says: 'ain't that Just like a woman'. Another Dylan coincidence?

Just watched the 1932 horror film 'Doctor X' and one of the characters says 'The human mind will only stand so much'. Bob Dylan seems to love the early horror films, so could this be where he got the lyric for Things have changed? (albeit with will 'changed' to can)

I just watched it. He was incredible, especially on the first 2 songs. That version of All along the watchtower was special, he was really singing his heart out.

I love the late 90's/early 2000s NET gigs. Dylan was having so much fun looking at this performance of It's alright, Ma (I'm only bleeding) youtube.com/clip/UgkxMvR...

Where I’m calling from.

The Bromley House Library in Nottingham - a Victorian subscription library behind an innocuous door in the high street.

Bob Dylan's Bootleg Series Vol. 18 is apparently a reissue of Bootleg Series Vol. 16 Springtime in New York. Google AI working like a dream here
Google AI search for Bootleg Series vol. 18 says it will be Springtime in New York (which was vol. 16) Google AI overview describes how volume 18, Springtime in New York, will focus on Dylan's 80's work. That was vo 16.

@mikemuncer.bsky.social Just watched another Frankenstein-esque movie, Britannia Hospital, following a recommendation in a Kevin Lyons BFl article. Not sure I loved it, but what a cast. Almost every British star of the 70s and 80s, plus @markhamillofficial.bsky.social directed by Lindsay Anderson.

Very intrigued by 'a snippet of Autopsy on Operation Abolition, a 1961 film, which marked his first foray into soundtrack work'

I'm all for 16 yr olds being given the vote, but there's also huge danger with it. My kids (16 and 14) make it clear that there are huge swathes of people in their years who openly talk positively about reform & would vote for them. Democracy fuelled by misinformation & by this Labour government.

Wouldn’t get away with that now
An article from a 1976 edition of Creem magazine. The headline is “Jimmy Page reveals fingering techniques” which inspired a childish observation in 2025

Weird that City and United have signed deals worth £100m and £90m per season respectively, but LFCs brand new deal with Adidias is only reported to be £60m per year. Am I missing something?

Can't, and don't want to believe it. RIP Diogo

That really is sad. Great player, great leader in the team. Feels like Liverpool are massively going backwards with the inertia. It was great to extend Holland, but the lack of signings, no word on the manager, and now this are very worrying

@mikemuncer.bsky.social Just watched the finale, and now I need you and Stacey to talk about it, and the series as a whole, for at least 4 hours.

@knoxharrington.bsky.social Are there any rumours about when the Anfield friendly will be? (if there is one this yr). The PL starts on 16th August, so the charity shield will be the week before and we're in Asia the week before that until at least the 31st July so 3rd August doesn't seem possible.

www.bbc.co.uk/news/article... How is this being seen as a bad thing? A rise in corporation tax for banks! A freezing of the threshold for 45% tax, currently on income over £125,140! And yet, the headlines everywhere male it seem like its a tax raid on people earning average wages etc
Leaked memo reveals Angela Rayner called for tax rises
