Today's #Jamuary!

Some issues (see earlier post) but got the Waldorf Q out and improvised some music. I think the last one in the #Mastodon thread is the best personally, as I felt I fell into flow with that.

#Jamuary today was slightly marred by my pulling the Waldorf Q rack out of storage and finding the knobs had exploded!! Took them off, cleaned it as best I could and then made 4 improvs to upload here...

Howard Goodall's Ecce Homo is still rather beautiful. Mr Bean, Red Dwarf, QI, Black Adder. Amazing how much his music has influenced me, even if its not all musically.

Not sure if this will work. Created in Kdenlive. Realised I only had avi output and had to convert with VLC. This is clip of Jamuary 11.

quick little doodle because I've been neglecting my korg volcas and thought using the keystep to run an arp on the volca keys would be cool

if I'm ever gonna start doing live stuff beyond DJing I probably should practice shit like this more anyway

If you work in the #NHS (or for any of their contractors) and have had a survey link from Unite about downbanding for the love of god do it. Lots of people are now facing this as Trusts move to protect higher salaries and bonuses instead of workers. You've a day left.

Got the niece some gold clay to make her Dollie's some crowns. But tbh she's being a little sod today. My mother made these so far.

Peeps seem to really like the string machine sounds, so I've made a small sample pack of the sounds through a vintage Joe Meek channel.

It wont be 9 quid.

Is it your duty to put solar panels on your home?

The government has announced a £15 billion fund for homes across the UK that want to install solar panels and heat pumps in their homes, in the hope that it will lower their energy bill costs.

What do you think?
