I decided to stay home sick, then I saw that the #BirdOfTheDay theme is #BackYardBirds, so of course I took my camera out there to see what might show up. This Verdin was there a few minutes later. I also used a B&W version of this image for my daily post on by blog www.tmpic.com/p/backyard-b...

Finished the book. I must say her argument was much more compelling by the latter part of the book. It was a good read and a real trip down memory lane for me. She was pretty harsh on Tacoma. A lot of it deserved but also some not so much. Thanks for the rec! ⭐️
