I just gave The Adventures of Batman & Robin for Game Gear a try and this review is very accurate. 😳

There's a difference between a jump straight up, a running jump, and a jump straight up and THEN start running. Dios mio. 😵‍💫

Out of the four 1989 Batman films Batman Returns is the only one I've never actually seen. Should I watch it? 🤔 I LOVE the first film.

I looked up a longplay video thinking maybe I just don't "get" this game.

But no. This game doesn't even look fun in videos. 😳

My guess is they were over ambitious with a new physics engine that was more cool than fun.

Interesting. I remember being blown away by the graphics and sound in this game when i discovered it a couple years ago. But I dismissed it as being just too darn hard. 🤔

Ghostbusters II for #nes and #gameboy is THE BEST retro Ghostbusters game.

It is everything I ever wanted. All four teammates are playable. Go out in pairs, one character with the zapper, the other with the trap, catching ghosts.

Looks great, sounds great, plays great. From the makers of #kirby.

As for it being "quaint", I agree, and I've been trying to find a way to put it into words... There's a collection of early Game Boy games that have this wonderful, simplistic fun and charm to them that's soooo different from later games.

When the GB was a portable NES instead of a portable SNES.

I first played this game a few years ago and I loved it! And I agree, the final stage wrecked me. 😆

As for Batman holding a gun... It does make me giggle, but the gameplay is just SO DARN FUN I don't even think about it. 😌

I got a boxed copy of Klax (JPN) for #gameboy at Retro World Expo for 2 DOLLARS. 😭

And the weirdest thing is it's a 100% unique reimplementation compared to the US release! 🤯

Man, Streets of Rage 2 was a lot harder than I was expecting, and I was on easy mode! 😱

I think I'd enjoy it more if I understood the controls better or was better at the game. But for now TMNT: The Hyperstone Heist is still #1 for me. 😊
