I'm usually opposed to listicle slop, but I wouldn't mind seeing a "Top 25 most evil stages in FFT" list. There's a stage that's just chocobos and it's the worst thing ever.

I'm 2/3rds of the way through it and there's nothing wrong whatsoever. That's impressive considering there are no less than four game-types. Any or all of them could've been disastrous, but nope. Everything works.

One of my absolute most favorite games ever made! A visual triumph for the PS1, incredibly atmospheric, solid combat and of course the trailblazing controls. Literally DOOM 3 on the PS1 but w xenomorphs instead of demons from hell.

Why did nobody tell me that Beyond Oasis is fucking peak 16-bit ARPG????

It has REALLY fun combat with clever controls, so far really clear progression (even marks on map where you need to go), and clever backtrack-minimizing map design.
Even has brandish-style limited use weapons!

The M2 rerelease being $25 stings though.
Yeah, it's M2, but $25...

I've barely touched Assault Suits Valken, and it already has "Required Super Nintendo classic" written all over it. They really nailed the mecha space opera presentation.
Plays great too.
Big explosions.
You can also see (and sometimes shoot) humans.

Wow. I can't remember the last time I've seen Abadede do that lift & throw move.
It's usually non-stop punches.

so uh. we decided to replay sor1. right as one of the abadede's lifted me up into the air to throw me, my wife respawned & knocked both of them down. leaving me just fucking stuck in the air laying down, literally softlocking the game since i couldn't get out & we couldn't scroll after the encounter
