That Thing You Do! is a perfect movie. It does everything it sets out to do. I always forget how hard Tom Everett Scott goes at the drums. Of course he uses traditional grip!

So while David Suchet deserves all the Poirot praise, I gotta shout out the Fraser portrayal of Hastings and the Jackson portrayal of Japp. And Moran as Miss Lemon? The best.

One thing I like about Agatha Christie is that she wasn’t afraid to use big words and she managed to not sound pretentious while doing so. Not easy!
