NEW: I have been told "negotiations are ongoing". And, as far as I am aware, there has been no reporting in Turkish media announcing a win on the COP31 bid, as you would expect.

Again, this is not to say the report won't be proven true by events but so far, there's been no confirmation either way.

The federal government only wanted to help South Australia with the algal bloom if it did not require new funding despite being briefed that an estimated 250k marine animals had been killed, new documents obtained through FOI reveal.
