This game was HILARIOUS! Sooo much fun for one shots, and my players were immediately excited by the idea of playing it again during one of our off sessions (perhaps having a rotating Chef role?). Kudos @molomoot.bsky.social! Wonderful work.

There's an emotional catharsis, and this led to renewed energy and excitement going into relaunch.

Fast forwarding, more problems and chaos arise, and we get deeper into what is the true problem at Deep in the Heart, this mixed up love triangle between the three characters. It comes to light that the reason the owner broke up the marriage was because HE WAS IN LOVE WITH HIS BEST FRIEND!!!

Chef gives the owner a pep talk to go help his sister regain control of the dining room, and miraculously a guitar serenade does help.

The dining room isn't fairing well either, as guests have heard of Chef's appearance here and have been flooding in. The server is getting into fights with the customers, resulting in name calling and overall chaos.
In the walk in, Chef is confronted by a Goblin and nopes the fuck out.

Tensions are rising high in the kitchen, the owner is scared of his ex-best friend, who seems more interested in leveraging that over cooking for guests.
After a little 'who's on first' bit the two of them swap identities leaving Chef more than frustrated as he digs deeper into their relationship.

Problems are abound. The restaurant has two head chefs, one is the owner, and the other is his (ex?) best friend who is also divorced from the owner's sister and restaurant manager. They're overspending on ingredients and overcooking everything.
