Bad Bunny's got a level of showmanship and talent possessed by few.

We have little to no policy media in the US.
Does anyone else long for the days when political journalism was about reportage and analysis rather than endless tittle-tattle and trying to shift public opinion?

Megyn Kelly, or Eva Braun? You decide.

Voted for FDR -- bitches!
My almost 105 year old abuelita-in-law is VERY excited for Bad Bunny. She came from the island, and for her entire life, she’s been an American citizen! Voted for FDR! 🇵🇷🇺🇸

They also love police, until the police treat people fairly.
The GOP is okay with violence as long as they're the ones holding the gun.

saw The Honey Trap, a play, at the Irish Repertory Theater. It's pretty powerful, and some Irish filmmaker should put it on screen. It asks tough questions like: "Will the Troubles ever be over?"; "When is violence the only alternative?"

Is he typical of his kind? Why are so many of them lawless? Maybe their culture turns them into thugs. Is it the music they listen to?

You know the Obama racist meme is bad, because even Tim Scott spoke against it.

Child at the podium: “A woo woo woo.”

Mamdani: That’s how I felt when we came up with this plan. Together, we will expand the idea of what is possible in our city—and what sounds and noises we can make at a press conference.

I've done significant work in promoting my book over the past few days, and I'm exhausted.

@wnba.com fans need to start calling Craig Carton's show. He seems to think that it isn't good basketball.

Why don't they quit? Are they true believers, or is something else in play?
"ICE guys are pretty miserable. I don’t think morale is particularly high for them. They’re freezing, they’re getting shouted at. They can’t go anywhere without being tailed by 5 cars. They get out and immediately there's a crowd of 100 people shouting at them, blowing whistles as loud as they can."

Remember how we got into an uproar about Anthony Weiner? That was bad, but compared to Epstein, Weiner was a traffic ticket.
One lesson from the Epstein–Mandelson affair is that we need to stop routinely rehabilitating political careers after serious scandals.

When politicians knowingly engage in grave ethical wrongdoing, that should permanently end their political careers. Being "talented" should not override that.

Garcia: I want to remind the American public of Stephen Miller. There's probably no single person in this government that has done more damage and more harm to people across this country than this man right here. It's our job to hold him responsible

In my bones, I'm somewhat agitated. Over the past few days, I've sent online messages to the wrong people three times. This world is disturbing me. I don't really want to talk about it, but it is affecting me.

Somewhat disagrees. Removing Trump would be putting a band aid on an infected wound. I wrote a novel about this -- we have real issues to address or there'll be another Trump in the future, with a different cult.
All the liberals screeching about Trump as if he is the sole reason we’re in this shitshow, and as though his death or removal from office will solve/fix everything, are gonna be in for some BIG surprises after Trump IS actually gone, when nothing is fixed and everything still sucks.

I think if I had majored in history, or gotten an M.A. or PhD. in the field, I'd be constantly angry. On the other hand, I'd have been more likely to have obtained a full-time position, than with my interdisciplinary doctorate.
