Across a green field of grass there is a long hedge that cuts the frame in two, a third of the way up the image. Beyond the hedge are green fields with more hedges and many trees Beyond these fields is a large hill that stands out on the horizon. It has a distinctive flattened peak. This is a color landscape photograph of a stunning sunset at a local reservoir. The frame is split horizontally with the bottom 40% water and the top 60% sky with the horizon made up of mountains and the Denver Tech Center in the thin stripe between the two. Because this is a very wide angle shot (14mm) the horion line with the mountains is the smallest part of the image. On the bottom left in the foreground is a small c-shaped section of the shore made up of brown dirt. In rthe water is a small log floating on the surface. The rest of the water is a glassy, and I mean super glassy depiction of the sky except for a small handful of slow moving ripples. The sky is magnificent. At the mountains about a third from the left side, the sun is setting in a bright orange-white ball. Extending from the sun to the left and right, painting both the sky and clouds is orange yellow light. The higher clouds are light and dark grey in silhouette going to light yellow white against a deep blue background. The sun rays are so powerful they appear to be breaking apart the clouds into wispiness of yelow orange. The same scen is playing out on the glassy lake as a reflection. The scene is stunning
