I honestly don't think so, because polls don't matter much. Some polls saw the LibDems before Labour in 2010, and that was probably correct. In the end, with an increased vote share, they won less (!) seats. I also hope it would spark a debate about strategies, but this would mean having agreements

Still, it's not a PR system and the elections are in about four years. I think way too much is read into recent UK polls.

Ja, man könnte interessante Analysen anschließen (wie aber nicht, weil wir die Daten nicht haben) wie zB, ob der Wechsel von CDU zu AfD durch die Kompetenzzuschreibung erklären kann.

I'm not so sure. Only very few parties withstand the temptation to become more critical of immigration in Europe. I'm not too familiar with the party competition literature on issues. It would be interesting to see if this is a general pattern or related to immigration only. 1/
