Starting to wonder if functionally shutting down FBI and normalizing masked heavily-armed men demanding entry to homes has made US less safe?

Even the folks in r/aviation have no idea what the fuck is going on in El Paso, especially because the airspace restriction is only up to 18,000 feet.

The FAA has issued a separate security NOTAM for Santa Teresa, New Mexico, banning all flight operations in the affected area for the same time window and altitude limits as the El Paso airspace closure, citing “special security reasons.”

The FAA is closing the airspace around El Paso International Airport in Texas for 10 days, grounding all flights to and from the airport, for “special security reasons."

The FAA's notice did not provide additional details.

🤔 Hmmmmm....
Here's what I don't understand: the majority of the immigrants are out in society supporting themselves and paying taxes. The government wants to round them up and put them in prisons where we have to pay all their expenses. How does this save us money or prevent them from collecting welfare?

Rep. Kennedy: "Do you believe your agency has a legal obligation to follow court orders?"

ICE Director Lyons: "Yes."

Rep. Kennedy: "You have a very strange way of showing it, with a federal judge finding that your agency is in violation of 96 orders in one month alone."

Every country surely must understand by now that any agreement they have entered into with the US and any agreement they are currently negotiating is utterly worthless while Trump is president.

This is what the folks in Congress do with the small amount of time they spend doing their job. I’m fairly certain constituents would prefer they work on more pressing matters, such as healthcare, job creation, immigration reform, affordable housing, almost anything else but this.

More than half the drugs on the TrumpRx site have a cheaper generic version on the market.

Pristiq, an antidepressant, is available with a TrumpRx coupon for ~$200 for a 30-day supply.

A generic version is on GoodRx for less than $30 and Mark Cuban's CostPlusDrugs for $16.65.

WHY has no one in the Epstein Files been charged? Epstein and his girlfriend, and literally no one else.

DOJ has spent more time and resources protecting the criminals than investigating them. Even as a blanket cover-up it doesn't make sense.

Several survivors of Epstein's global child trafficking ring are now dangerously exposed because the DOJ is either spectacularly sloppy or trying to intimidate people. Or both.

What pisses me off more than anything is the rabid coverage the traditionally important press gave to the Biden family in all things negative and the virtual silence given to this group of self dealing conmen. They have let this country down immeasurably, historically, in every way possible.

😲Republicans lied to us! They said they would arrest the worst of the worst "violent criminals, thieves, rapists, gang members, and murderers...." #votethemALLout2026
A stunning detail the ICE chief shared in this hearing that was supposed to be a brag, except it isn't: ICE has arrested 379,000 people between Jan. 2025-Jan. 2026 -- but only 8,700 were suspected gang members or known suspected terrorists.

That's 2%! www.huffpost.com/entry/latest...

Republican tax cuts are REALLY helping America's wealthy donor class ... 🫩that's swell.
While the rest of us suffer under the weight of having to pay to keep the gov't running, large corporations are paying up to 86% less in taxes.

Amazon's tax bill went from $9 billion to $ 1.2 billion, META from $9.6 billion to $2.8 billion, Google $21.1 billion to $13.8 billion.

Holding ICE to the same standards as state and local law enforcement isn't unreasonable. Upholding our constitutional rights isn’t either.

These aren't Democratic demands, they're commonsense reforms that Americans are insisting on across this country.
