I just noticed this quick shot in the trailer for The Pitt S2 and it has me VERY curious.

What if Pee-Wee's Playhouse were broadcast on Videodrome?
This is a lot of fun.

I think Cameron has been feeding those takes into social media. The subtext of today's Variety article seemed to be "I can't believe I said I'll do two more of these. Maybe I won't have to if this one disappoints."
Fire and Ash made half a billion dollars in a week and we’re still doing “Avatar has no cultural impact”? Don’t you people have homes to go to?

The strangest part of Gremlins is that the movie opens with the dad, Hoyt Axton, saying he's going to tell us the strangest story we ever heard.
But he was out of town for the whole movie. Unreliable narrator!

ONE BATTLE AFTER ANOTHER
Cut 20 minutes from the front end and put them in the middle so we can have more scenes with Willa and Bob and Sensei del Toro.

I met Gil Gerard at a comic con 15+ years ago. I was a comics guest. There was no line at his booth ( the con had just opened for the day).
Being a fan I approached and talk with him for a bit.

IT: WELCOME TO DERRY
Not since the era of SW prequels have I seen a fanbase in such deep denial. Stephen King fans are contorting themselves trying to like this fundamentally bad show.

Look at this happy dork who watched Evil Dead 2 from the projection booth with the King himself (circa 1999).

WAKE UP DEAD MAN
The first 20 minutes of table setting felt like homework. Probably because the characters were merely being described by a single narrator instead of introducing themselves as in the other movies.
And what is up with the priest's ears?!

Whenever I see a bar with "PACKAGE GOODS" on the sign I assume it is 300 years old and sells things wrapped in cloth and twine.

Little St. Nick (Beach Boys):
The refrain "Christmas comes this time each year" is a random factoid of a lyric.
Who is that for? Who doesn't know that?

Green Tea makes me poop shards of seaweed. It's vicious stuff.
I don't want tea to be soothing, I need it to make me sharper, more vengeful.

"Christmas Vacation" is a terrible movie and does not deserve to be a holiday standard.
Why not give yourself the gift of a good Chevy Chase movie every year?
Watch "Fletch" instead.
