“Typically” is the squishy word: it doesn’t mean the stops *must* be brief and to the point. He could have said “as long as they are brief, nonviolent and make a swift determination” but he chose not to. But he’s probably quite proud of this fact.

We’re in the middle of an unprecedented authoritarian putsch - and flag-burning is your big conservative issue?

This is just embarrassing.

He ignored it when I pointed it out, but @profgalloway.com’s efforts to make young Americans hate older American (because: wealthy) was only ever going to harm poor elders. Now comments on this article take delight in the suffering of 80+ year olds. www.businessinsider.com/ageism-workp...
Older Americans say they hit walls job searching, face workplace ageism
Older Americans who can't afford retirement say workplace ageism makes job searching futile. Some take part-time, low-wage work to stay afloat.

Starving sick children is *better* to you? Seriously?

You really are a monster.

I kept waiting for him to recover his moral sense but he has dug into pure evil. It’s so painful because on almost all other topics he is clear and adjusts his thinking when there is new information. But on Gaza he is intellectually shut down.

“And complaining about Israel intentionally starving children in Gaza is also antisemitic.”

Can anyone explain Scott Galloway’s obsessive hatred for Meghan Markle - he just made a joke about how great it would be if she was disfigured in a car accident? Does he really think she’s a black Lady Macbeth who cast an evil spell over her hapless blameless husband? Makes my skin crawl.

That’s just a vibes complaint. We don’t have the power to help them, only they do. As I look at old video of Texas voters refusing money to build flood protection, and then see them blame Democrats for the deaths, I see keeping the painful truth before their eyes makes change more possible.

This is at least the second time they’ve overridden a policy approved by a majority of voters - but the voters voted for them again anyway. What are supposed to do?

Nice. Then again doing whatever I wanted has not made me any less obscure.

Seems like they’re banking on all farms becoming massive corporate farms that can afford the automation. Although I haven’t seen anyone in ag tech say we’ve got this.
dudleys.bsky.social
I’m concerned that even tech people rely on it when it is constantly hallucinating information that doesn’t exist.

Notice how they deny this is why he was refused entry but avoid offering another reason. Because then they could be fact-checked.
dudleys.bsky.social
Shouldn’t this get him disbarred?
dudleys.bsky.social
This is a lie. A decent person would take it down.

Wouldn’t this require that all learning take place on a pad? And would it monitor engagement just by the number of clicks each child made? I thought we were moving toward AI tutors for homework basically a reinforcing tool, to fill in the gaps kids didn’t pick up in class. This feels backwards.

We’ll never know what could have been, but we do know they chose to believe him and not her, and now they are making up excuses for their votes that put us all in harm’s way.

Don’t think this is a one-off.

Probably a good moment to point out that US Homeland Terrorism Prevention is being led by an unqualified 22 year old kid who's one year out of college.

According to Iranian State TV, Iran’s parliament has approved the closing of the Strait of Hormuz. If this also gets approved and enacted by its Security Council, it will spike the price of oil.

About 20% of oil consumption and 30% of liquefied natural gas GLOBALLY passes through that Strait.

It’s striking how many accounts are copy-pasting this message. Which is especially fascinating since Trump is repeating Netanyahu’s arguments which largely contradict American intelligence.

Doesn’t this suggest they moved their centrifuges and processed nuclear material?
