Kahlenberg TESTIFIED FOR THE PLAINTIFFS in the 2023 Students for Fair Admissions v. Harvard case. Consciously or not, he has for years abetted the Trump campaign of anti-antiracism.
Affirmative action bans amplify racial & socioeconomic K-12 inequalities, & the Trump admin is targeting even SES efforts as arguably too aligned with race-conscious efforts. Also, Kahlenberg still fails to understand the research on why SES-only efforts are limited in producing racial diversity.
