Given the state of things, I have to take joy from the little things. Therefore, I'm happy to see that my favorite 007 score (and my favorite Bond film) is being released in an expanded form.

It occurred to me a while back that Stanwyck is the Stan Musial of actresses (baseball fans may get the analogy). In a career spanning decades, she witnessed significant changes yet she was always on top of her game.

Correction: #DOA has been remade five times (I forgot 2006's "Crank"). It has also been done up as a stage play with an original Jazz score.
