Love old films and music. Classic (and not so classic).
And with that, I immediately turned off my TV.

Eggcellent. 🤓
And Anne Baxter played two villains on the show: Zelda the Great and Olga, Queen of Cossacks. Therefore, she would get a second film. Avoiding the obvious, how about "The Blue Gardenia"?

An excellent point and one that I've long pondered. From "The Concert for Bangladesh" to "Live Aid" to "Farm Aid" and all of the public benefit efforts in between, none of them (by my count) were organized by the Trumps of the world.

No worries. I confuse actors and actresses all the time.

Excellent point. And not just the actors. IIRC, when "Stange Bargain" was aired on #NoirAlley, Muller made note that the film received a sequel of sorts on "Murder, She Wrote" - using many of the surviving players.

Yes!!!
"Godzilla 1985" is the U.S. edit of 1984's "The Return Of Godzilla". IIRC, Burr actually had a great deal of affection for Godzilla and demanded that they tone down some of the more comedic aspects of the U.S. film inserts. It is, however, a hard version to locate now.

Yes. In fact, the connections that Perry Mason has with old horror and sci-fi films is a running joke on METV's Svengoolie.

But an "older" Barbara Stanwyck is still 🔥.

I agree w/Burr having a day. But only on the condition that I get "Godzilla 1985" out of it. 🤓

I guess love conquers all, but Kathy as a police detectives' wife doesn't strike me as a long-term match. But let's see if these young (middle aged actually) love birds can make a go at it.

Yep. That was Robert Ryan (who boxed in college BTW). But I have a feeling that one would be wise to avoid Hayen in a fight as well.

People that say that, typically would have a tough time boiling a cup of water. So, they may not even know that there are utensils in a kitchen.

I've been up since Godzilla was fighting a giant moth! So, send some of that coffee over to my house when you get a chance.
