One of the most valuable and lasting effects my therapist had on me was that at the beginning of each session she asked me "so what's been better?"

Consistently asking me that question helped condition my mind to naturally seek out healthier thinking patterns.

Shaped my lens of processing reality.

Ok I've found a couple of machines starting with 11lbs.

Can still be too heavy but that's a MUCH better starting point than 22lbs.

Machines at the gym should have a lower starting weight lol.

Not even kidding.

The lowest possible weight for these machines (for tricep extensions, lat pulldowns, etc..) is 22lbs. That feels unreasonable for many beginners like me if trying to do good form.

On a rebuild I traded for 3 x 1st round picks and it looks like they're gonna be the 1.10-1.12 😭😭😭

For rookie drafts, in the past I've always been very quick to trade away the picks for established players, to a fault. And have been incredibly impatient with rookies.

Going forward I'm gonna try very hard to stick and pick and be patient and see how it goes.
