years ago I saw a clip of a black poet reading a poem about listening to 'Born in the USA' in the car, that started with how when that song comes on you have to sing along 'because it is good to own something in this country', and I wish I could remember -any- identifying info about the poet

I love me some fiction that disorients and upends me, and tara consistently manages to do that through overwhelming body horror, this shit is grody and gruesome and delicious and if body horror and/or angry women are your thing, but this in your face
some mistakes ... are in the process of being made. perhaps you like the flavor of artistic errors in judgment. perhaps you'd like a taste of terrible women who leave a terrible irritation on one's tongue after they're through doing what they do to most meatsacks like you. i couldn't begin to judge.
