incidentally back when i still wrote fanfic, an American commented on one of my fics 'correcting' all the typos (colour/color, realise/realize) then finished with "but it says on your profile you aren't from the USA so English isn't your first language, for a non native speaker you're doing well!"
ppl love flagging the phrase 'by the by' in my vns as a typo, when it's a common british saying which means the same thing as 'by the way'
but i will not let them beat me...... i'm not going to remove common phrases from my stories cause ppl aren't familiar with them...............

i think my least fav genre of story is 'unremarkable average man with glaring personality flaws that never get addressed by the narrative keeps failing upwards while every single named female character falls madly in love with him for no discernable reason'

People get their news via social media these days. Newspapers always have a comics section, because if there's not something good to look forward to, people stop showing up to learn about the bad. i think i'm getting burnt out not on making visual novels (that's still fun) but on having to market them constantly so people know they exist

little known fact: i actually wrote a 4th part of the fairy's song series but i have no plans to turn it into a vn atm b/c of poor sales
