In October, ICE grabbed Maher Tarabishi.
He was a 24/7 caregiver for his disabled son Wael.
At the time of Maher’s detention, disability advocates warned that taking away Wael’s caregiver put his life at risk.
Wael died on Friday at age 30.
ICE caused his death.
They didn’t get to say goodbye.

As someone who spent the last 15 years working with aging brains & dementia, I can't stop thinking about this. It is gerontocracy: leaders who are substantially older than most of the adult population. When did we accept this? The new generations can't show up because the old generations never left.

In the late spring, if $ negotiations don’t pan out they’ll send troops. On the Canadian side, they acknowledge they would be overrun in an initial invasion. However—they expect a rapid insurgency (military and civilian) force to quickly step forward. We are going to Afghanistan Greenland.
