We had X which was 18, but also AA which I think was over 14 though it was a recommendation where X was enforced

I’m thinking of John Lennon today on his 85th (!) birthday. I was randomly assigned his phone number in NYC in 1992 after Yoko Ono disconnected it when it appeared in Albert Goldman's biography (see photo). I got calls from George Martin, Elton John, Rod Stewart, and many others.

It was ok but following Born In The USA etc it seemed a backwards step
Years later it all made sense 😑
I actually broke into his hotel to meet him on the 85 tour & there’s photos somewhere of me, him & Julianne coming out the foyer

We need immigration but Scotland has a very specific problem imho
Do we have actual stats on elderly / retired people moving here from rUK, because anecdotally social media is full of that?
We could literally see a need for more immigrants than England as our retired % could outstrip them

He’s not a match winner yet (he’s just a kid obviously) and we have a 19 yo winger of our own who’s scored 3 goals in much less pitch time
Loans can develop the loan player but for us we’d rather see our own academy product play and develop

He’s been very ordinary up here, but
- Martin didn’t run a press so he rarely saw a ball in broken play with a defence scrambling
- our system was bollocks so it took a long time & many touches before he got the ball

Biggest worry might be Gassama (22 -ex Sheff Wed) on other wing still shone

Where did you play him?
We’ve been awful and Martin was a fraud of a manager, but Moore has only one assist. We’ve played him wide but he’s been really unsuccessful 1 v 1 against defenders I thought he’d breeze past
His best game was the hard work he did in the 0-0 v Celtic
Maybe needs another club
