I'm a white cishet America father of two who is pissed as hell at the MAGA garbage ravaging our nation. I do my best to be an ally, though I'm not perfect at it.

Good morning. The President of the United States was in the middle of the most serious child sex trafficking ring of the last quarter century.

He is referenced not a dozen times in the case files. Not 100 times. Not 1,000 times. He’s referenced 38,000 times.

I calls 'em like I see' em.
Bovino: "When politicians, community leaders, & some journalists engage in that heated rhetoric we keep talking about, when they make the choice to vilify law enforcement calling law enforcement 'Gestapo' or using the term 'kidnapping,' that is a choice & there are actions & consequences."

One more reprehensible act by ICE thugs. Can you imagine the thought process involved making this decision?

"Hey, let's kidnap a 5-year-old boy from his school and use it to lure his parents out so we can kidnap them too."

"I love it! Perfect plan, I have no notes."

This shouldn't be surprising. We should universally oppose authoritarianism and fascism. But I'm glad that people are generally at least saying they don't want despots.

Trump is an embarrassment, but the GOP owns the blame entirely. This bullshit illegal immoral action against Venezuela is right out of the GOP playbook: distract from internal issues by starting a military conflict about oil. My embarrassment for my country just keeps growing.

"The Republican Party has created an entirely avoidable mess for itself. By taking a resolute stand in favor of making healthcare unobtainable for many Americans, and now threatening to starve children to achieve that perverse goal, they have made performative cruelty their political calling card."
Mike Johnson's lies keep getting lost in the facts
The shutdown is exposing the speaker's slimy disingenuousness.

So far, this is the best take I've seen on Charlie Kirk: www.thenation.com/article/poli...
Charlie Kirk’s Legacy Deserves No Mourning
The white Christian nationalist provocateur wasn’t a promoter of civil discourse. He preached hate, bigotry, and division.

Senator, please rethink your position. Your take on Section 230 seems very underbaked and ill-informed. You can do better.

I'm honestly proud of President Biden for pardoning his son. Hunter Biden has had to deal with an immense amount of bullshit flung at him by some of the worst people in DC. Now that Joe doesn't have to deal with political repercussions, pardoning his son is a badass good-dad move.

Good news: I found the underwear and socks. Pants are still MIA.

I'm trying to remind myself that it's just stuff, it happens, and just because I lost some stuff doesn't mean I'm going to start losing everything again.

Regardless, I'm pissed at myself. I haven't lost anything substantial in many years, but this brings me right back to the dark ages of my youth when my undiagnosed ADHD "helped" me lose stuff all the time.

I somehow recently lost my favorite pants, my favorite socks, and several pairs of boxer briefs. I can only assume I left them on my last work trip, but I usually triple-check hotel rooms when I leave them. I doubt the washing machine ate them all.
