Can you say a bit more about the weekend rail replacement? What is that supposed to achieve? Anything to do with reducing speed restrictions?
edison53.bsky.social
Bizarre that some (presumably government) source was briefing pre-trip that some sort of deal was in the works. Remains to be seen, and if there were a deal, whether it would be kept.

Curious to know what rail replacement will do. Will it lead to fewer speed restrictions?

The proliferation of drone warfare coupled with autonomous control systems should be viewed with the same alarm in the scientific community as was afforded to the atomic bomb program. The risks are immense.

Oops. Missed that. Curious, though, that after decades of being part of the F-35 program and the $ benefits that come with it, govt implying that’s not enough. Any idea how much more they are looking for?

It’s 2025 and OCT *still* can’t tell you where the buses are. But you can track a friend walking down the street almost anywhere in the world. 🤣

Liberals maintain an overall advantage, but eroding satisfaction in Quebec and strained U.S. relations cast a shadow on the horizon.
