@shifter.info A request for a video someday... home winter bike storage. I've never been able to figure out how to store bikes once they can't be sitting outside in a bike rack anymore (and yes, I know I shouldn't leave bikes out in the rain either). Are there any innovative ways to do things?

My colleague, Councillor Bradley, tabled an excellent inquiry at City Council this week asking the City Manager to provide the data that will show why this move is needed. Unless this was an evidence-based decision, we’ll review the decision as soon as possible.

Hear me out. What if we used AI to fact check *everything* on social media (starting with BlueSky). It wouldn't be perfect, but if you are stating a fact, there could be a flag above your message saying "opinion", "unverified", "verified", "flat out wrong", "hyperbole" etc.

Even cooler! Near null island, there's a set of points shaped like the US (you can see Florida in the lower right.) But when you zoom out, they're off the coast of Liberia, exactly where they'd be if the latitude and longitude were both divided by 10 (eg so NYC is at 4.1, -7.4 instead of 40.7, -74).
