wow "BROTHER corp" has really dropped the ball on their service as of late. I had an awesome printer that ordered ink when it was low, and had zero issues for over 5 years, and trying to get ANY type of help with it is a JOKE. Corporate Enshittification on Full Display.

So we got Ziggy a new bed, since the old one was humped-to-death over the last few years, and I am NOT putting that in the washing machine 🤣😳🤢, and he instantly claimed the new bed, and humped it. 🤭🫣😆
But he is a very happy kitty in his new bed!

Yesterday, while I was working in the studio, I got to gaze into the beautiful loving eyes of my sweet cat Mirci (no longer with us) as she was my desktop photo. I miss her gentle loving presence, and her sweet meows. We had some deep philosophical conversations…

It’s not quite easy to see this, but what you are looking at is a computer monitor with a picture of my sweet beloved deceased cat named Mirci (pronounced Meer’-tseee) as she sits in a box, looking up at me with a loving gaze, her eyes are so beautiful with a golden brass hue, she has a beautiful white mane, and looks so majestic. On the right edge of the photo you see another monitor with some text from a program, above the monitor is part of a computer, a Mac mini, some figurines - a pig with a kazoo behind Brock Sampson, sitting on the edge with a knife in front of a monitor speaker, and a small WebCam pointing off to the left. No- I am not AI describing this because I use a hyphen. I happen to like hyphens. I see nothing wrong with using hyphens - although I admit it can be confusing now because AI uses it so much. I still like them, and find them useful. There you go. I miss my little sweet kitty. She lived to be 18, and died probably about five years ago. I can still hear her meow every now and then.

Now that the heat is on, steadily, the humidity in the studio is dropping like a lead weight- so I have a pair of steamer/vaporizers on 12-hour timers hocketing duty. The piano needs around 40-50% to be happy, and that’s what it is! #piano #humidity #steamer #climatecontrol #winter #musicstudio
A pair of steamer/vaporizers on food trays (to keep spills local) the one on the right is marked D for day, and the left is N for night. They are alternating 12-hour shifts via timers. My beloved Mason & Hamlin BB 7-foot piano in my studio.

New “Recording Projects Notes” paperback notebooks! They’re here! Looks beautiful. Lulu.com did such a great job at printing these.
The front cover of the“recording project notes“ notebook I created so that others can enjoy the set up that I’ve been using for years A picture of the back of the recording project book which has a red hue and darker tones to it, it has an ISBN number The inside pages which repeat themselves throughout the book: on the left side, you have a series of rows with several columns for track number, take number, information about the piece being recorded, and comments; the right side has general note information, information about the clients, information about the HARDWARE used, and a checkbox-to-do list for finishing up the project and getting paid In the beginning and end of the book, there are pages that are devoted to contact, Client, Musician, Info, so all of your information is in one place. I’ve used this system for years, and it really makes a difference, also takes a lot of stress out of looking for various bits and pieces of information, especially when a deadline looms quickly ahead.
