Man, gay, bear, drives car, Bear driving car? How can that be? Ugh! (He/Him)
Restaurant has the local radio station that’s already given up for the year and is constant Christmas music. Sorry, it’s 85 degrees and I’m not in the mood.

When Steve Jobs came back to Apple and started doing the product announcements there was a thing called the Reality Distortion Field where Jobs could sell changes like No Floppy Disk with ease
Trump seems to think he has a similar power, that prices are down and things are great, but it doesn’t work

This latest batch of Epstein emails and the upcoming vote on the files is really rattling the right.
You can tell by how much they are ramping up the rhetoric on the trans community and furries today. It’s a coordinated move.

Trump doesn’t want to look like he lost a vote in the House, so he’s now on the side of having the House vote for the release.
This is knowing he can influence the Senate to block it, or, if it passes there, veto it.
It’s still going to be a long road.

Lots of talk about Paramount, Bari Weiss’s Paramount, making a new Star Trek movie.
They say it won’t be connected to anything previous, which likely means a separate, but similar idea to the Kelvin timeline movies (Chris Pine, etc).
Now will they try to make it conservative?

Bill Clinton is 79. We all know he was a horndog. That reputation is burnt in.
Whether true or not, he should release a short statement saying “yes, that happened”. Don’t even say what.
Then watch the cult try to deal with that.

Do not want to know what glands have to be expressed to go into a bottle of Trump Fragrance.
Trump sprays Al-Sharaa with ‘Trump Fragrance’ and jokes, “This one’s for your wife — how many wives, one? With you guys you never know.” Al-Sharaa laughs, answers “just one,” then later appears to return the question. Trump grins and replies, “Right now, one,” as they both laugh.

The ACA was designed to get more people covered by insurance and because they had insurance, they would get regular checkups and more preventative care. It was a way to slow the growing problem of growing catestrophic care flooding emergency rooms. Spending some on insurance subsidies was cheaper!

Too many democrat senators more worried about their personal holiday plans than the loss of healthcare economic support.

I beg the Democrats to run someone in every district. Make all Republican have to answer questions and work for it. No easy wins, no hiding behind incumbency.
But I also beg them to not run this guy. Go to Florida like you said you would, Andrew.

I love that the “Free State of Florida”keeps talking about being a great place, but when there’s a chance that people want to move their from another state, right wingers all the way up to the governor posts “oh no, we’re full!”

The Now You See Me pretend magician movies, does anyone actually go see them, or are they made just to fill the time on the TBS cable channel after episodes of Charmed?

Some interesting observations on this off-year election night. 1. The people are turning out. Even here in Texas where most just voted on constitutional amendments, the turnout was really good even in places without congressional or gubernatorial races. 2. For a cord cutter like me, it’s sometimes

I saw somewhere that people think the decorations for Halloween have skyrocketed over the last decade, getting more on par with Christmas. I guess thats true, and it’s been a big push by retailers to sell more cheap lights, inflatables, etc. it’s been a big marketing success.

With Nintendo announcing a large Animal Crossing update, the first new Tomodachi Life in over a decade, and Pokemon Pokopia all for the first half of 2026, I’m concerned that they are predicting a global meltdown that has us all staying at home.

There’s been several meetings at work telling us we should be using AI as an “assistant”. They are all trying to present several reasons for using it which mostly end up as “have it rewrite what you put in as a prompt”.
I’m thinking they are trying to justify how much they are paying MS for it

I voted over the weekend. Texans, it’s all constitutional amendments, and there’s some really nasty ones, and several trying to make it much harder to tax capital gains etc. Rich folks lobbying to make it harder to tax them.

With the right wing trying to smear all Democrats as antisemitic for supporting the idea that maybe Palestinians should have a place, it’s hard to then say, yeah Nazi tattoos are OK if he’s on our side. Planter’s reasons for the tattoo have seemed more “well shucks” than a true “I didn’t know”.
Establishment Democrats spent a full year complaining the Left forced them to be “woke.”

But then a left populist, Graham Platner, threatened to win in Maine, so they went right back to trying to cancel someone over old internet posts.
