As a wimp who is hating that tonight will dip a few degrees below zero, watching Minneapolitans out protesting in the ice and snow is really something. It’s horrible this is happening when it’s the government terrorizing its citizens just to be bullies. I hope it ends soon.

That second episode of Starfleet Academy was not as good. Some weird choices and Hunters playing she’s so quirky isn’t as fun here. Also, because you have a budget to put robots everywhere doesn’t mean you have to. It’s not Star Wars.

I liked the first episode of Starfleet Academy. Setting a lot of things up…maybe too many? We will see.
One thing I didn’t like was the use of the ST movie font in the title sequence because it looked like this:

We have a administration that feels they must be the center of any event. Now there’s talk of interfering with Iran protests because they think it’s about them, and they must “do something” rather than just letting it play out. There’s a narcissistic belief that if they interfere, they get a win.

The troubling thing is that so many of the voices telling you “obey law enforcement and you won’t get killed” are also the ones that build an arsenal for when they expect law enforcement will turn on them.

So a CBS Evening News reporter actually did a pretty solid breakdown of the ICE murder video, talking to a former agent who details all the ways Ross messed up. And yet: It didn’t air on the actual show tonight. CBS did post it to YouTube—and it has nearly 800k views already youtu.be/6ywLEESFDu0?...
If anyone is liable for identifying the killer, it’s Noem. She made the mistake of mentioning another incident with a vehicle he was in, and it was easy to look back for the reports that named Ross.

Besides the nostalgia of getting Dynamite magazine at the book fair, can we talk about Gil Gerard as Buck Rogers? A very campy show with post Star Wars dreams, but man, did they make Buck look good week after week. Gex X Bears will remember Gil for sure.
