You don’t understand. Having TOO MANY good wingers to the point that Nadeau is having to spend an extra year in the AHL is terrible. Rod playing (checks notes) Hall and Martinook, two solid wingers playing sub 15 minutes a night, too much is why he’s a terrible coach and they’ll never win

Sometimes I see Canes fans tweets/replies and then have to fully open the NHL app to check where they’re at in the standings and confirm I haven’t fallen into an alternate reality where they aren’t tied for second in the league and have won playoff rounds multiple years straight

And meh coaches are way easier to find than high upside, cost controlled hockey players, so he’s only hurting himself if the Flyers have any sense.

Yeah I don’t disagree with the thesis I’m just much less empathetic I guess. Like gosh, I can’t name specific names publicly but I know about a very good player or two who showed up to camp fat one year in their youth. Otherwise, he doesnt get paid to read the comment section. He gets paid to coach—
