Long Story Short - 10/10

Has a lot to say about the messy relationship religious trauma can bring, both with the religion itself and your family in it. Specifically Judaism, in this case, but a lot of it I found runs in parallel to my own experiences.
Also great humor that does not stop for you.

Mouthwashing - 9/10

Very good atmosphere and storytelling. Almost feels like a bite-sized version of Silent Hill 2 (that's very reductive for both games but anything else would be spoilers).

((also, it's a BSky post, by definition it's going to be reductive))

Was looking at the new Megas in Pokemon out of curiosity and I love Scrafty so I was stoked to see them. The full hoodie is cool and I thought the white was a cool subversion for a dark type..... then I saw it straight on. Obviously it's not intentional but man. I can't look at it the same anymore.

Demon Turf - 7/10

The sheer love of 3D platformers (especially Mario 64 and Sunshine) is palpable. Plus the characters have a great charm to them, and the aesthetic's nice. Being able to swap the player character's colors around whenever is also a big plus for me.

The player character, Beebz, talking to a "Shiny Golem" robot, who's saying "And, might I add, I just won against the grandmaster [ToiletScrublord64]."

Hades II - 9/10

Love SO MANY characters, and the gameplay's a great iteration of the first. Management of the base/resources felt a bit much at times and story beats just straight-up telling you to do another run to find out more was tiring at times. Phenomenal game overall.

Hollow Knight: Silksong - 9/10

The fact this game does SO MUCH truly heinous shit that I will never defend and yet I still dumped 100 hours into it and gave it a nine should tell you how truly special this game is.
