iirc the saltwater guy is even worse. they had to do a med evac. they were like "where are you getting your water" and when they walked like a minute upstream there were dead fish everywhere. he was like "i was filtering it through moss" and the evac guys were like "that doesn't do anything"

sure! for one, the character Hopper mentions being “in Vietnam”. he’s likely referring to the Vietnam War, a military conflict that the US was involved in during the decade preceding the 1980s
